MAST trials aim to define best practice in the use of anti-epileptic drugs for patients following a traumatic brain injury. MAST is comprised of two independent randomized clinical trials: 

MAST-PROPHYLAXIS and MAST DURATION.

MAST-PROPHYLAXIS compares different anti-epileptic treatments in the prevention of seizures.

MAST-DURATION compares a short course and a long course of anti-epileptic treatment in the treatment of seizures.
